PRISM membership is divided into different core tracks. Each track offers distinct activities, skills development, and leadership opportunities.
Mobilized for action. Attends events, tabling, phone banks.
Actively engaged organizer. Attends All-Member Trainings and participates in a Core Track.
Takes ownership of initiatives. Mobilizes others, conducts peer 1:1s, hosts events, manages projects.
Mass Outreach & Harm Reduction
Boots on the ground at tabling; distributes resources and flyers.
Designs connection spaces; deep organizing conversations at field events.
Tabling Lead; co-creates social events; trains new volunteers.
Advocacy & Legislation
Signs petitions; presence at school board meetings.
Delivers public testimony to lawmakers.
Power-mapping workshops; campaign oversight; Lobbying Captain.
Internal Base-Building
Discord stewardship; phonebanks; wellness checks; recruitment.
Conducts intake 1:1s; co-facilitates Orientations; rapid-response lead.
Capstone programs for committed youth leaders ready to take ownership and drive PRISM's mission forward.
6-month program
6-month volunteer leadership cohort for LGBTQ+ and allied students under 24. Fellows produce content, develop professional skills, and showcase their work at a public event.
